Development Associate (Projects based)

Summary
The Development Analyst will support the Development team in developing utility scale solar projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, analytical and communication (written and oral) skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, have strong computer skills, and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Maintain project files and records by utilizing the Smartsheet and Box data rooms.
- Perform data analysis to report on key project details within the data management framework.
- Work collaboratively with the team to track deadlines and complete project objectives.
- Organize materials to provide status updates from the Development team on projects and portfolios.
- Communicate with landowners regarding property details, required documents, and project updates.
- Provide internal support on zoning and permitting processes.
- Review project documents to evaluate potential risks and opportunities.
- Manage inbound documents in coordination with the rest of the development team.
- Process and send payments, notices, and other mailings.
- Facilitate weekly team and monthly company meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education
- Associate degree working towards bachelor’s degree, required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred.
Required Experience
- 0 to 3 years of previous experience with an interest in renewable energy generation.
Other Skills
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn and understand the operations of power projects.
- Excellent project management skills with a highly organized approach.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, grammar, spelling and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of software such as Google Earth, ArcGIS Pro, Microsoft products, Adobe, and Smartsheet.
- High level of personal integrity and business ethics.
- Notary Public preferred.
Physical Requirements
The Development Analyst may be required to endure the following physical activities, environmental conditions, and physical demands:
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces,
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods,
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another,
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions,
- Communicating with others to exchange information,
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers, and
- Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
