Finance Associate

Summary
The Associate will support the dynamic capital markets needs of energyRe and work closely with the SVP, Finance & Capital Markets to raise, refinance and optimize corporate debt facilities and various infrastructure capital markets activities.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain corporate debt model that meets and adheres to debt financing covenants
- Run various sensitivity analysis surrounding corporate debt facility
- Collaborate with different business partners to understand debt needs across all energyRe verticals
- Assist with due diligence processes and perform underlying research on financing structures and incentives.
- Manage one of energyRe’s Giga infrastructure models and conduct project analysis as well as financial optimization for the project team
- Prepare and improve all materials required for asset marketing (teasers, info-memos, factsheets) and approvals at energyRe investment committees
- Prepare comprehensive modeling and presentations for internal stakeholders
Requirements
Required Education
Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MSF/MSc in Finance preferred.
Required Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy, corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity.
- Direct work experience in project finance industry is desirable.
- Prior experience of working in energy and/or infrastructure financing.
Other Skills
- Strong quantitative, financial analysis and modeling skills.
- Attention to detail, and curiosity to understand underlying inputs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Ability to work well in groups.
- Proficient knowledge of Excel, Visual Basic and PowerPoint.
